When you first open your ECOYA candle, it is important to have a read of the safety instructions enclosed inside the candle jar and on the base of both the carton and the vessel.

We advise that before every burn (and including the very first burn) to always, trim your wick. The wick only needs to be approximately 6mm in length.

Ensure you burn your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface.



If you’re burning more than one candle at a time, leave at least 100mm (10cm) between candles.

Burn your ECOYA candle for a minimum of an hour, this will prevent tunnelling (ECOYA candles are made from natural soy wax, which does retain a memory).  So ensure your wax pool reaches the edge of the glass on each burn.

Do not burn for longer than three hours.

To extinguish your candle, use a snuffer or blow it out gently. Do not use liquid or the lid to extinguish your candle.
